Who is Camper King Ltd

We are the largest manufacturer of Volkswagen Camper Vans in the UK, based near Banbury, Oxfordshire.

This Privacy Policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you.

 

THE IMPORTANCE OF DATA PROTECTION

At Camper King Ltd we take your privacy very seriously. We use your personal information to process and manage your vehicle purchase or sale. The processing is necessary for the performance or future performance of a contract with you. We will never sell your data on to third parties.

We will only use your personal data for marketing purposes if you give us your consent.

 

PASSING DATA

We may share your information with HMRC, Finance and Insurance Companies, Credit Reference Agencies and other Companies for use in credit and insurance decisions, for fraud prevention and to pursue debtors. In connection with vehicle purchases, we may also share your information with the Warranty Provider or DVLA for ownership, warranty service and safety related matters.

 

FINANCE APPLICATIONS

If you wish to apply for finance through us, we will pass the information you disclose to us to various Finance Providers so they can process your application. The Finance Companies will carry out various searches using the information provided with Credit Reference Agencies and other regulatory and statutory bodies. If you wish to take up Insurance with us and your vehicle qualifies, we will pass the relevant information onto the Insurance Provider.

 

MARKETING

We are required to gain your consent to contact you regarding our products and services that may be relevant to you. We will only contact you if you opted in for marketing. You may opt out of any form of marketing by expressing your wish to do so when we collect your personal information by ticking the relevant boxes on your sales invoice or by contacting us by email on info@camperking.co.uk Ref: Marketing.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Overview
1.1 The Win a Free Weekend Away In a Luxurious CamperKing Campervan promotion (the “Promotion”) is run by CamperKing (the “Promoter”).
1.2 The Promotion runs from Tuesday, 18th February 2025 until midnight on Friday, 28th February 2025 (the “Promotional Period”).
1.3 No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
1.4 By entering this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility
2.1 The Promotion is open to UK residents aged 25 and over.
2.2 Participants must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
2.3 Proof of age and a valid UK driving licence will be required from the winner.
2.4 Employees of CamperKing, their immediate families, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry & Winner Selection
3.1 To enter, participants must scan the designated QR code and enter their name and email address during the Promotional Period.
3.2 Only one entry per person is permitted.
3.3 The winner will be selected at random and notified by email no later than 7th March 2025.
3.4 If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

4. Prize Details
4.1 The winner will receive a free weekend trip in a luxury CamperKing campervan (the “Prize”).
4.2 The Prize includes:

  • The use of a CamperKing campervan.
  • A hook-up cable and gas bottle.
  • The cost of a campsite from a pre-selected list of five locations across different regions in the UK, subject to availability.
  • CamperKing will book the chosen campsite on the winner’s behalf if available. If unavailable, alternative dates will be offered.
    4.3 The winner can choose any weekend from Friday, 4th April 2025 to Sunday, 28th September 2025, subject to availability.
    4.4 The Prize covers a two-night stay: Friday night and Saturday night.
    4.5 The CamperKing campervan must be returned to CamperKing HQ by midday on the Sunday. Late returns will not be permitted.
    4.6 The following costs and items are excluded from the Prize and must be covered by the winner:
  • Fuel costs.
  • Insurance for the campervan.
  • Personal expenses.
  • Camping gear and bedding.
  • Food and drink.
  • Travel to and from the campervan collection point.
  • Any additional campsite fees beyond the standard booking.
  • Any fines, penalties, or damage costs incurred during the hire period.

5. General Terms
5.1 The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to make changes to the Promotion or substitute the Prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
5.3 The winner agrees to participate in promotional activities related to the Promotion, including the use of their name and photographs for marketing purposes.
5.4 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues or other reasons beyond its control.
5.5 By entering this Promotion, participants consent to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of administering the Promotion.
5.6 The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Liability
6.1 The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 The winner is responsible for ensuring they comply with all relevant laws, driving regulations, and insurance requirements during the hire period.

7.1 The Promotion is subject to change, and the Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
